Recently I had one of my recipe ideas published on a  local parenting blog. I thought I should share it on here for anyone stuck on what to make the kids for dinner tonight.

Mini Pizzas

This is a simple kid-friendly snack, super easy and great for lunches, after-school snacks or a light dinner. And kids enjoy picking out their own toppings and making their own food. It’s easiest to have everything prepared, then the child can put on their own sauce and toppings. (Encourage them to use vegetables to make pizza faces!)

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of flat naan bread or other flatbread, english muffins or bagels
  • 1 jar of tomato sauce (marinara works just fine)
  • Grated cheese (mozzarella or any other kind – be creative)
  • Any toppings you like. Meats, sliced peppers, mushrooms, pineapple, etc.

Bake in oven at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes and enjoy!

Childcare Providers:
Always check for any food allergies or sensitivities, as well as preferred foods, with the parents before giving the children any food.
